When Filing A New Claim, Would The Unemployment Rate Be Different From My Original Claim?

I’m in Ohio. I got laid off from a full time job recently. If I worked at a one-month temporary job, I’d have to file a new claim after that temporary job right. Would the unemployment rate be different from my original claim?

  2. I was told that it is different by state and case by case per each individuals. Well in your case, the best way would be to call them and ask specifics to the officer, so that there is no misunderstanding on both ends… Contact number for Ohio is as below…

  3. I am in Maine, so things might be a little different. I just lost a job and filed. They took into account any job that i had worked in the past 18 months, including a christmas season job that i worked for two months.
