My sister is about to start receiving unemployment checks, she looks for work everyday via internet and job posting in the paper. We know you have to be looking for work while receiving unemployment but how do you prove to them that you are looking for work- do you have to go to the unemployment office everyday?

When I was getting it I just had to call their automated system and check in once a week. They gave me a certain time slot to call in, and I guess if I always made the call at the time instructed they knew I was serious. If I missed a call in to them then I had to reapply for benefits, but I never missed a call.
