DeKalb County unemployed received good news last week when Congress passed a bill to reinstate jobless compensation benefit extensions. It means out-of-work Alabama residents whose unemployment benefits have run out should file for an extension.

I moved from Hawaii to Nevada in 2006. While in Nevada, I received Hawaii unemployment compensation.

Currently receiving Pennsylvania unemployment compensation, if I move to New Jersey can I still receive PA unemployment benefits? All my work experience is from Pennsylvania. I may have to move in with family in NJ because of money issues. Anyone with experience in a situation like this? Thanks!!

I heard with the new stimulus bill, that anyone who has to quit work to care for an elderly parent can draw up to 20 weeks unemployment. I haven’t work for 2yrs. now I have to think of the Unemployment Compensation. how much should I get?

I have been working a 44 hour week. This has been in effect for a year. Now my boss tells me that they have to cut hours. None of the other managers are getting their hours cut, only me. Do I qualify for unemployment compensation for the loss to my paycheck ?
